What is Sublimation?
Sublimation apparel refers to clothing that has been designed and printed using the sublimation printing process. This method allows for vibrant, full-color designs that are permanently embedded into the fabric, resulting in high-quality, durable prints that won't fade, crack, or peel over time.
Steps Involved in UnderPar Subllimation Process:
1. **Design Creation**: The first step is creating a design that you want to print. This design is usually created digitally using graphic design software. For best results, graphics should be created and/or submitted in a high resolution vector file. A vector file allows for the image to be modified without the concern of distortion of image or grainy edges on the print.
2. **Apparel Selection**: All Sublimation is printed on 100% Polyester material. There are options such as Lightweight, heavyweight, mesh, interlock, spandex. The most common we use is Lightweight interlock 100% Polyester.
3. **Quantity Needed**: Sublimation has a minimum purchase of 1
4. **Invoice**: Once the Graphics have been approved, you have selected the type of fabric and the quantity needed, you will be provided with an invoice to continue the process.
5. **Mock Up Approval**: Once the order is submitted to production, you will receive an official mock up for your approval. The mock up will show the color of the fabric, location of the graphic, size of the graphic, color ink of the fabric and any other important information needed to ensure the order is created to your requirements.
6. **Production Time**: Once the Mock up has been approved and submitted to production, the production team will complete the project within 4-5 business weeks.
7. **Shipping**: Once Production is complete, the project will be shipped or delivered (Depending on pre-agreed arrangements) to the customer.
Advantages of Sublimation Apparel:
**Durability:** The design is embedded into the fabric, making it resistant to fading, cracking, or peeling.
**Vibrant Colors:** Sublimation printing can produce bright, bold colors with intricate details.
**All-Over Printing:** This method allows for full-coverage designs that wrap around the entire garment, including seams and edges.
**Comfort:** Since the design is part of the fabric, the garment remains soft and breathable, without the stiffness sometimes associated with other printing methods.
Common Uses:
- **Sportswear:** Custom jerseys, shorts, and activewear often use sublimation for team logos, numbers, and names.
- **Custom Apparel:** T-shirts, hoodies, and other apparel items can be personalized with unique designs.
- **Promotional Items:** Companies use sublimation to create branded apparel for marketing and giveaways.
Sublimation apparel is especially popular in the custom clothing industry, where personalization and full-color designs are highly valued.
